Critique

I can’t write poetry

Worth even a dime,

’Cause I just can’t seem

To make the lines…make sense.

My meter is simple.

My words are all wrong.

Instead of writing poetry,

Perhaps, I should just sing…a tune.

So as you can see,

I’m really not a poet.

It’s so very obvious,

And yes, I…am aware.
